WHAT IS MERCY ACTION GROUP (MAG)?

Sr Leonie Martin invited Year 9 and Year 10 students of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic College to form a "Mercy Action Group" in 2003. Fortunately for us, this group has continued to run since its establishment and offers students in Years 7-10 opportunities to live out Mercy values.

'Mercy Action Group' also known as MAG for short, is a small group of students belonging to an "Action" group. This is a supportive and practical way of learning about compassion to other people, and also just how easy it is to make a difference to the lives of others, by thinking of them and doing small things for them.  Students make community connections by visiting the elderly, supporting people in need and raising funds for Mercy Works.
