Sr Leonie Martin invited Year 9 and Year 10 students of Our lady of Mercy College to form a "Mercy Action Group" in 2003. Fortunately for us, this group has continued to run since its establishment with a new generation of active people in 2009.

"Mercy Action Group" also known as M.A.G for short, is a small group of students belonging to an "Action" group. This is a supportive and practical way of learning about compassion to other people, and also just how easy it is to make a difference to the lives of others, by thinking of them and doing small things for them.

MAG MISSION STATEMENT

We, the "Mercy Action Group", will strive to make a difference through working together:

By lending a hand;

By being positive;

Having a cheerful persona, and by

Creating a friendlier atmosphere through our attitude and actions;

MERCY BEING SOMETHING THAT BLOSSOMS EVERYDAY.
